Aarhus har fået et nyt spillested, Volume Village, som åbnede i november. Spillestedet præsenterer sig som et laboratorium for lydteknikkere, visuelle kunstnere, musikere og hvem end der ønsker at bryde igennem lydmuren. Huset er bygget til at huse 350 indvendige gæster, men kan åbnes op og invitere endnu flere med til udendørs arrangementer.
Volume Village ligger meget passende på Thomas Koppels Gade, under Ringgadebroen i det vestlige Aarhus. Projektet er støttet af bl.a. Realdania og Lokale og Anlægsfonden. Bygningen er tegnet af Kondens arkitekter.
