Svensk biblioteksboom
Hver femte svensk kommune vil bygge et nyt bibliotek indenfor de nærmeste fem år. Oveni dette er det muligt, at næsten ligeså mange kommuner også vil bygge nye biblioteker. Hver fjerde svensk kommune vil gennemføre større renoveringer af biblioteker.
Bibliotekernes byggeboom kommer således til at omfatte størstedelen af de svenske kommuner. Det viser rapporten Byggboom fra Svensk Biblioteksförening. Rapporten er baseret på spørgeskemaer til kommunale forvaltningschefer.
