Et mylder af streamingtjenester med lydbøger
Der er efterhånden et sandt mylder at streamingtjenester fokuserede på ebøger og lydbøger i Danmark. Det var Mofibo, som i 2013 etablerede dette marked. Mofibo blev i 2016 overtaget af svenske Storytel.
Siden har vi fået Saxo.com (oprindeligt Riidr.dk, ejet af JP/Politikens Hus), Nextory.dk (den eneste som ikke ejes af et forlag) og BookBeat.dk (ejet af Bonnier). Nu kommer også Chapter (ejet af Gyldendal, Modtryk og Gad), som åbner tredje kvartal 2020 på webadressen chapter.dk.
